CATE Services, in partnership with Samet Corporation, was selected as Construction Manager-at-Risk for the NC A&T State University Bluford Street Student Housing project. The four-story, 135,417-square-foot facility, designed by Clark Nexsen to house 405 students by fall 2025, is the first new student housing facility built on NC A&T State University’s campus in 18 years. Situated across from Harrison Auditorium and the future Wellness Center, the facility will provide underclassmen with a convenient, state-of-the-art home to study, sleep and socialize in multi-purpose and gaming rooms. The scope also includes space for kitchens, vending and laundry. The overall budget for this project is $55 million.
